Lets face it HIDs are cool. They make your car cooler (not literally, since they are better know as high-intensity discharge), and they make your car faster (at least in our own minds). Besides the fact that girls love HIDs, they are also proven to outlast your old halogen bulbs by a 2:1 ratio.

After the guys from Unique Fabrication in Irvine California installed the 6000 Kelvin rated white HID headlight bulbs into their 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS project, they wanted to take their lighting to the next step. It was time for them to “man up” and swap out the Cobalt’s stock fog light bulbs in favor of a set of ABG Light 3000k yellow HID fog light bulbs.

The total installation time was about 30 minutes and this install is relatively simple to do. Just make sure that you keep your greasy palms off the HID bulbs or they can explode in your hand or in your housing and that wouldn’t be a good thing.

The ABG HID lighting kit comes with all the necessary goods to get the install done correctly. Included in your kit is a pair of H11 3000k HID bulbs, two 35-watt ballasts, a couple of igniters and relays.
