Last week we showed you some behind the scene pics of the Tjin Edition / Mobil 1 Honda Fit as it was picked up by Reliable and headed to the SEMA show in Las Vegas. With one Tjin Edition vehicle on its way to Vegas, we knew that we would hearing about the Tjin Edition / Mobil 1 Pontiac G8 CST that will also be debuting at the SEMA show next week. This past week the Tjin Edition / Mobil 1 Pontiac G8 CST was picked up from Neil Tjin, and it is now also in route to Vegas to meet up with its brother, the Tjin Edition / Mobil Fit.

From concept to birth, the meticulously re-mastered Tjin Edition / Mobil 1 Pontiac G8 CST stands as a newborn monument of metaphorical and literal vehicular sculpting. Inspired and built in honor of Neil and Mei Tjin’s newborn son, Collin Samuel Tjin, the G8 CST is accurately and creatively named and branded.

Since August of 2008 the Tjin Edition team has kept up to date through the whole process. Eagerly and excitedly we have watched the team and everyone involved work diligently to complete this build in less than 12 weeks.

Clearly this vehicle is an automotive masterpiece, crafted by some of the most skilled and recognized artisans associated with the automotive aftermarket industry. As a result, an awe inspiring magnum opus is available for the rest of us to drool over.

Neil and his team took the base vehicle, a stock 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, directly from Tustin Pontiac in Irvine California to Unique Fabrication. Adam Carpenter and his team from Unique Fabrication, took out the interior and fabricated a slew of various other major custom exterior modifications. World-renowned pin stripper Jeff Styles, then graced the G8 CST with a amazingly unique addition of his famous pin striping.

As with all Tjin Edition products nothing but the highest quality parts were used during the build including the Corvette Z06 big brake calipers and rotors, custom fully polished 20x9.5" and 20x10.5" One Lug Wheels, Dunlop tires, Eibach suspension, Magnaflow exhaust, Vortech charged cooled supercharger, American Racing headers, ID- Tuning harness bar, Focal Audio, Webasto sunroof, Visteon Navigation. As if that were not enough, a trifecta of GlowShift Elite 7 Color Series Gauges were installed into their custom fabricated dash pod.

So whether you are in the Las Vegas area or already plan on going to the SEMA show next week, we highly recommend stopping by this truly amazing work of art as it will be showcased in the General Motors booth #23743.
