TunerZine: How does it feel to be the first feature model for Tunerzine?
Alexia: Fabulous! hahah Just kiddin. Feels pretty nice. Thanks by the way.
TZ: Just nice? no tingly sensations?
A: Haha not yet at least.
TZ: k I gotta work on that.... so.. Hmm anyways.... What got you into modeling?
A: I was discovered while standing in line at Burger King. Haha. Yea right. I would always attend shows with friends. They told me one day that I could do that. So I did.
TZ: I was gonna say, you like the Whopper with cheese huh?
A: Heh Lots of cheese please!
TZ: What was your first show then?
A: I think my very first show that I attended as a model was Import Fest Seattle... It was so long ago I don’t even remember.

TZ: Seattle native huh? What brought you to Socal?
A: Ah Seattle. I miss my friends. Well, what in Cali wouldn’t bring me here? It’s great. I can’t get enough of the beach. I’d have to say the Beach brought me here.
TZ: Aww that’s so heart warming.

So what’s your take on the entire import industry?
A: My take? Well I think that the scene is definitely evolving. Things are much different since I first started in all of it. It’s exciting to see where things are going.
TZ: Speaking of where things are going, where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
A: 5 years from now, I want to have been on the cover of Maxim or Stuff, FHM... one of those magazines. I am starting to look into acting as well.
TZ: I'll gladly buy that magazine, so we'll see you on the next season of “The OC" huh?
A: Haha quite possibly. We'll see how things go.
TZ: So, since we're on the topic of magazines, sorta... We've seen that you've worked with several magazines in features. Did you have a favorite that you worked with or anyone that stood out while shooting you? Besides me of course…
A: I liked them all for different reasons. The Lowrider Edge shoot was fun - got to work with my girl Pam Rodriguez for Brian McKnights feature. I liked the Import Racer! shoot because the GReddy car was insane and Ed Loh was cool to work with. The OverRev Magazine feature I got to work with Bruno Talledo who has extreme talent and I loved the images.
TZ: Seems like you've met a lot of great people in the industry, lastly, gimme your shoutouts!
A: Id like to say thank you to everyone out there that has supported me through everything. It’s so great to hear all of the feedback from events and shows. Thank you all for your support. Thank you to Buti Groove Clothing for always providing me with their latest gear to rock, and thank you to my friends and family for always being there to push me to do my best.
