Unlimited Events did it again by kicking off the 2009 show season in
style. Super Tunerz Showoff took place in the El Paso Convention Center February 8th 2009. Though more than 150 of Texas’ top tuner cars came out to support, vehicle exhibitors came from as far as Houston and Phoenix.

This event was the kick off of the F4 Challenge Chase to the series’ finale. Making a big presence was Team Notorious showcasing 25 of their members’ rides; including a Wild Chevy Cobalt owned by William Elmer. Team Elite Fusion also brought out their wild Mercedes 430 owned by Jason Hazelton and their wide body BMW owned by Bert Lazaras. Teams RPM and SVS Performance made their presence know too, and to our surprise, hiding on the far wall was a steel blue CRX owned by Ramone Briones - that to most looked basic but with its shaved and tucked engine bay, molded kit and every nut and bolt having been replaced with Mugen counterparts, it was easy to see who was taking home top honors of the event and recipient of the first ever Experienced Diamond Chase Plaque. Also let’s not forget one of the cleanest TSX’s ever seen owned by Joe Cruz winner of the Amateur Diamond Award. If you missed Super Tunerz Showoff, be sure to keep an eye out on their website as F4 Challenge will be teaming up with them again in 2009.
