What is normally a one day event has been extended to two allowing the Pro teams to qualify on Saturday. We want to extend out a huge thanks to Frank Choi and the crew at Battle of the Imports for putting on the event. A huge thanks to Chris Wold for covering it for us and we look forward to an entire season of Battle of the Imports drag racing goodness on our site.

For those wondering, Battle of the Imports has done a great job keeping their site updated with results. So make sure you head over there to get the details on what each car ran! Familiar faces include Leslie Armendariz's all motor Scion tC, the Bergenholtz Racing Mazda 6, Scott Kelley's Toyo Tires Bullet, the Clutch Masters team, Bryan Jimenez and Kenny Tran competing against one another, just to name a few. The Hard Target Scion made an impression as did a couple of new cars including a FD RX-7 sporting Mazworx on the front bumper. We can't wait to see how competition goes as well as the street class tomorrow!
