This month we had the chance to visit Jeff Miller and his crew at JMI Motoring, one of the Northwest’s premier paint and auto body shops.
Jeff first got his start doing paint and auto body out of his garage during his free time. Wanting to further advance his paint knowledge he started apprenticing at a few of the local auto repair shops where he picked up his tricks of the trade, Fast forward 7 years and you get J.M.I motoring. A 3400 sp. Ft. facility located twenty minutes north of Seattle.
JMI is not your run of the mill quick fix paint and body shop. On any given day you might waltz in to find an 800hp supra receiving the JMI treatment. Jeff is responsible for painting some of the industry’s most highly profiled vehicles including superhero builder Christian Coujin’s Veilside Supra and Victor Joe’s RE Amemiya Rx-7 this is an awesome accomplishment seeing that before this feature all of there business has been solely word of mouth.
And don’t expect to see anything but the best being used at JMI, this is due to the fact that only BASF paint products are used, whether it be a 1000hp drag boat or your mom’s Camry, they refuse to spray anything less.
The guys at J.M.I are fully capable of doing anything your mind could possibly imagine whether that means a 20 piece Veilside wide body or that lip kit that’s been sitting in your garage for far too long.
