While we may find it hard to believe that Japanese tuners would desire an American influence on building their cars, the truth of the matter is - they do! The trend of USDM is as rampant in Japan as JDM is in America. At first glance, these cars might not look very USDM influenced but taking a closer look shows that their desire for the little details almost meets even the strictest of JDM fanatic standards here in America.
Starting with the Integra, the owner actually told us that his styling on the vehicle was influenced by a tunerZine feature! A subtle Spoon Sports carbon fiber front lip and carbon fiber hood along with nicely offsetted SSR Mesh wheels makes it a very simple and clean package. On the other end of the corner is what most of you guys would consider another clean Si Coupe in America. What is the biggest surprise however is the fact that Coupes aren’t very popular in Japan! In fact, these are hardly available and are almost the equivalent of us having a right hand drive car. Dropped on Work RSZ-R wheels along with Spoon Sports brakes and calipers, the exterior modifications of this Coupe were made to replicate our EM1 Si’s.

Skim over the photos however and notice the USDM influence on these cars. While we search high and low for Japanese VIN plates to put on our cars, these Japanese builders look through every crevice in Japan for a Made in U.S.A tag. Top it off with them sporting tunerZine decals on the other side of the world and we couldn’t help but shine them the spotlight. Thanks to these awesome enthusiasts in Japan for keeping it real!
