Some call it the Ultimate Driving Machine, but for those that own one - the stock BMW M3 just isn’t enough. With the right bit of modifications though, the E46 M3 could easily be transformed to the perfect daily driver. Ramon Hizon is not only fortunate enough to own one of these gems, but his bit of modifications makes his E46 M3 more than just something to stare at. It performs as well as it looks and sounds making it a well rounded car.

On the exterior, the unique M3 paint has been contrasted with black powder coated pieces. The side vents and grilles have been powder coated black, while the custom set of CCW wheels are in a complete black finish to match. Going for a much cleaner look than factory, Hizon also had several exterior components painted to match the exterior shade. The headlight housing was dismantled and match painted along with the front grill housing and some interior trim. The car has received a more comfortable stance thanks to a set of H&R coilovers. Lastly for aesthetics, a carbon fiber front lip and rear trunk lip was added to accentuate the stock body lines.
For those that have ever driven an E46 M3, you’ll know that its performance is more than enough for a daily driver. Getting bored of the M3 in its stock form however, Hizon desired a tad more performance out of the engine. Freeing up some breathing room, a K&N drop in filter was installed while the CDV was removed and a Section 1 straight pipe leads out to a Borla exhaust system. A UUC short shifter kit has made daily driving a quick and easy snap. Upgrading braking just a tad are Axxis performance brake pads.

Check out the beautiful photos snapped by David Cho of this M3 that is a driving example of why sometimes less is more.
