David Huang is no stranger to building Lexus IS’s. His current IS300 has been revamped several times to become the top show car it is today. Touring throughout the nation with Hot Import Nights, this MAZiORA Andromeda painted IS300 should be a stranger to very few. Decked out with full HKS styling, this IS300 sports HKS’s D1-spec front bumper, side skirts, rear valence, and grill. Plenty of goods straight from its Japanese brethren, the Altezza, has also been outfitted on Huang’s IS300 transforming it from a mundane IS300 wonder to a JDM fan boy’s dream come true. If it isn’t the clean styling that attracts your eye, and if you are looking well beyond the unique paint job, perhaps it’s the 19-inch Advan Kreuzer V wheels that hit the spot. Behind each wheel are massive Endless 13.5-inch rotors and 6-piston calipers. What’s with all the braking power? Let’s take a look under the hood, shall we?
Completely removing the Shift Sport carbon fiber hood revealed an engine bay pristine enough to eat off of. A fully built and stroked 3.1L JUN motor resides in the engine bay, powered completely by a Garrett GT35R turbo. Plenty more go-fast goods have been added to the setup including custom exhaust piping by D.T., HKS cams and cam gears, HKS carbon-titanium exhaust and an HKS S-Type intercooler was added to keep all the forced induced air nice and chill. Tuning the vehicle is none other than HKS’ own F-Con V-Pro standalone while plenty of other HKS electronics were wired in to keep everything right in tune.

After taking a look at the elaborate exterior and intense engine bay modifications, it was no surprise to anybody that Huang’s interior of his IS300 was fully decked out as well. Plenty of Altezza goods have been swapped in over its American counterpart, while aftermarket pieces from HKS, Cusco and Recaro have found a new home on the stateside as well. The rest of the interior has been overhauled to match the theme by Stitchcraft, leaving Huang and all his fellow Team Hybrid teammates happy with the project.
In the trunk, this car hardly lacks any in car electronics, as Huang has literally covered all his bases in his IS300. Goods from Eclipse, Diamond and ACCEL have all been carefully installed in a custom fiberglass layout by Creative. A masterpiece of artwork is literally what resides in Huang’s IS300 trunk.

Now while to some the IS300 has been seen and looked at in detail, we had a chance to feature Huang’s newest project, his ’06 IS350. While rather new on the market, the new styling of the IS is undoubtedly one of the hottest vehicles out there right now. Continuing his tradition of JDM goods on his IS350, Huang was one of the first to source out many parts for his car and really getting a jump on the competition.
On the exterior, a full INGS+1 body kit was installed along with Blitz’s front carbon fiber grille. The interior has received the same overhaul from Stitchcraft while underneath the engine bay the 3.5L has received a little boost in power from Sun Auto’s grounding kit and voltage system. A Fujitsubo dual exhaust system gives the IS350 a whole new tone when the accelerator is shoved down to the ground.

Along with the INGS+1 styling, Huang slammed his IS350 thanks to a set of Zeal Function X coilovers. Sharing attributes similar to his 300, Huang also equipped his 350 with a set of Endless big brakes while a set of staggered 20-inch Work VS-XX wheels reside on all four corners.
The madness has only just begun for Huang and his projects, as he plans on transforming the IS300 once again for the 2007 season. What waits for the 350? We promised we wouldn’t tell, but keep your eyes out, it’s sure to be a beauty!
