Rebirth of a Monster
It's not an R35 or even an R34, hell it's not even an R33... it's a pristine R32!

With the changing of the times it would seem like some things are forgotten or replaced. When it comes to cars it’s more of a replacement than a lost memory. Nothing holds more truth to that statement then when “Skyline” is mentioned. If you are in a crowd of people and someone is talking about the Skyline in the parking lot, the people will go buzzing in search for a R34 or even then new R35. It’s times like this that a R32 will hide in the shadows of its younger brothers. This R32 is out looking to change that and bring the greatness back to all aspects of the Skyline and GT-R name. After being in hiding for just about 8 years this GT-R is ready to once again hit the streets and become a icon again. The car will be making its official debut at the upcoming show “Shakotan Matsuri” Boise, ID later this year, but we couldn’t hold out any longer to let it be seen.

While the body of the car itself remains to have a stock like appearance under the hood this is far from your everyday R32. One of the biggest modifications to this GT-R is the replacement of the R32 motor with a newer R33 motor. While the R32 still has the stock T-28 turbos there have been plenty of other mods to gain the max power out of the fist sized turbos. Feeding air into the car is a APEX intake coupled with a hard pipe kit and HKS Down pipes than join to a APEX exhaust system the R32 can breathe nicely and also have a nice deep crisp sound to it at WOT. The throttle body and intake are also harboring Tomei Gaskets to seal the air in. Helping to cool the motor down the GT-R has a upgraded Koyo Radiator and Samco Radiator Hoses pushing the coolant around. The brains of this operation have also been pulled out and replaced with a Tomei ECU and to the drivers delight it also has a HICAS Eliminator to do away with the 4-wheel steering. These simple but affective modifications will help get this GT-R to an estimated 350hp.

Now the power is great but what is going to help get this power to the ground. 275’s should do just fine and that’s what this GT-R has wrapped around the 17” Enkei RPF-1 wheels. To be exact the tires are 275/40/17 Hankook’s. Along with the wheels and tires to assure the ride is smooth the GT-R also has a set of Tien Coilovers and making it turn tightly is Cusco Strut Bars. Helping the power get to the wheels is a O.S. Giken Twin Disc Clutch and to make sure the GT-R rips the gears is a C’s Short Throw Shifter. On the inside things remain pretty stock besides a few Spacro goodies, ranging from pedals, shift knob and steering wheel.

So with this GT-R back out on the streets look for more great things to come to this car in the coming months to re-establish the R32 as one of the great Skylines to touch US soil.
