Ahhh - The Mazda RX-7. One of the premier tuner cars on the market today. The problem - Mazda isn’t making any more here in the states, so if you are one of the people who happens to find one, make sure you jump all over it.

Josh Mackey’s rockin’ the camera for this RX-7. And the owner says he’s not scared to put this car on the road and see what it’ll do. With it’s Pettit Racing Hybrid High-flow Turbochargers, this car screams "Zoom Zoom" as it races down freeways, expressways, and any other ways. An HKS-TI Exhaust System with a Blitz Dual Core Intake System are definitely hot additions.

There are two parts to putting power down on the road or dyno. It’s all about generating the power and then putting it to good use. Want to be feared at the track? Well how much power can you transfer to the ground? This RX-7 does a good job with its Exedy Hyper single-disc clutch, Mazdaspeed lightened flywheel, RP Carbon driveshaft, RP 4.33 final drive gears, and a Mazdaspeed short shift set-up.

Now that we’ve proven it can put power to the ground are any of you wondering about how the car can take corners? Well the Tein HA coilovers and Cusco front and rear strut ensure all evenly-distributed weight of the car stays firmly connected with the pavement, while maintaining a silky smooth ride.

The exterior of the car features a RE Amemiya N1 body kit with molded side and rear skirts. The paint is a custom white with blue pearl, that you can really see pop in all the pics below. Wheels can be a two-sided coin; they can either help or hurt a car’s appearance. While these 18-inch Volk Racing GT-Ps are not one of our favorite styles, they compliment this RX-7's bodylines quite nicely. The wheels, wrapped in Toyo Proxes RA-1 rubber, hide Brembo cross-drilled brake rotors, Metal Matrix Kevlar brake pads, and Goodridge steel-braided brake lines.

No matter if you’re building your car to drive on the streets locally - or even cross country - you need to have your tunes. While not as extensive as the work done to the rest of the car, there’s still nice contributions to ICE. A Panasonic headunit pumps sound to Focal speakers and 2 10-inch Xtant subs, which are powered by the Xtant 603 amp.
