The Scion tC’s popularity has grown beyond many of our expectations. With its release, the aftermarket quickly jumped on producing as many parts as they could to please all the lucky owners. Even today there’s a wait list for a brand new tC from the dealership, something we could all attribute to Scion’s success. Jamasco’s tC was one of the first high horsepower ones out there, quickly turbocharging the motor to great results.

Utilizing Scion Speed’s Stage III turbo kit under the hood, Jamasco’s tC now spools to the tune of a GT35R ball bearing turbo. A front mount intercooler along with a K&N air filter ensures everything being forced into the motor is nice and cool. Expelling all the exhaust starts with the custom exhaust manifold that leads through a 3-inch racing downpipe and out a 3-inch custom dual exhaust system. Tuning the car is a GReddy e-Manage unit along with an AEM UEGO wideband and Turbosmart e-Boost controller. Getting the power to the ground has been made much easier with an OS Giken prototype clutch kit and Phantom Grip LSD conversion.

On the exterior, Jamasco’s tC has accented the stock body lines with a Kaminari Aero Race body kit. A carbon fiber hood and a TRD lip spoiler add a little more to the exterior. What really set off this tC are the humongous 19-inch Piaa Super Rozza wheels in a Hyper Black finish. Behind each wheel is a brake system setup to stop the boosted tC as quickly as possible. Scion Speed equips the front and rear with their 13-inch rotor while Wilwood provides the clamping force in the front with their 6-piston caliper. Stock suspension has been tossed out for a set of TEIN Super Street coilovers complete with EDFC. A TRD rear sway bar and DC Sports front strut bar ensures all the suspension is in check.
Making this a complete car, the interior has been decorated with plenty of MOMO’s products including their Millenium steering wheel, Combat Evo shift knob and Match anthracite pedals. The front and rear seats were also replaced with a pair of Bride Brix II racing seats. The audio has been upgraded with an Eclipse head unit and JL Audio goods.

The tC’s great success can be attributed to both Scion’s styling and the aftermarket. With plenty of toys out there to keep any Scion owner busy and happy, we can’t wait to see what other tCs are being built!
