The last NSX is planned to roll off the production line sometime this December. Production may come to a halt, but like a legend, the name and impact on the automotive industry will not be forgotten. Until the NSX's successor reveals itself, we'll have to rely on the loyal NSX owners such as Charles to wow us with their aftermarket prowess.

The lines of the NSX remain practically unchanged since it was introduced back in 1991. Therefore this 1992 NSX with extensive exterior modifications can easily be mistaken as a newer model, or hell even an exotic million dollar kit car built by some crazy Swede. Charles wanted the car to speak for itself with a clean in your face attitude. Parts are from the JGTC race NSX and are very functional. A custom carbon fiber front lip with a painted Taitec carbon fiber hood grace the front half of the NSX. A Taitec wing with a custom deck lid spoiler from Science of Speed gives the impression that this NSX belongs on the deck of an attack aircraft carrier rather than blasting down 7th Avenue. Attached to the top of a custom engine cover is a GruppeM engine hatch with a 98 carbon fiber scoop to help direct air to the revolutionary VTEC engine.

Nothing is more heavenly than the sound of a fine-tuned high revving 330+hp and 243+lb-ft torquey engine wailing inches behind your cranium. A Comptech supercharger with +6 lb pulley feed the engine with an endless supply of extra oxygen. A custom air box was installed to pull air from the top of the engine plenum. The exhaust gases are treated to an all-expense paid vacation through a set of Comptech headers coupled with a Taitec center out exhaust. The sound is unmistakable and comparable to an F-16 hitting afterburners - OK maybe not that extreme, but it damn near feels like it from the cockpit.
The landing gear, er, suspension, consists of 17x8 front and 18x10 rear Volk GT-C's shodded with super sticky Bridgestone S-03s. Behind the Volks is a set of Tein RA coilovers with Dali race/street swaybars. Cross-drilled rotors on every corner enhance the already track proven braking performance even more. These modifications come in handy when Charles decides to hit up some of the best mountain roads in the nation.

Considering this fine example of an NSX is a 13 year old model, and the last of it's kind is being rolled off the factory line this December, then expect the name NSX to be associated with the cream of the crop among supercars for a long time to come.
